That’s a wrap!
Welcome to the final CCW Learning @home weekly wrap. As of next week, we will be returning to a fortnightly newsletter, as all of our students will be back learning on-site. Some elements of the wrap will remain. We welcome feedback as to what you have enjoyed reading or would like to see in the future. Please feel free to contact us.
Jess and I would like to acknowledge the contributions of our executive team, teaching and support staff, parents and students. This has most certainly been a unique period in time and the weekly wrap was aimed at keeping our community informed and connected. The sharing of photos and experiences will be our documentation of a period in the history of Cathedral College (and indeed all our lives) that we will never forget. It has been a privilege to be welcomed (virtually) into family homes and to share the creativity, independence, exploration and innovation that came to the fore.
As a parent of two Middle School students, I experienced first hand the challenges of working from home while trying to support them with their learning and I would like to congratulate (maybe even give a virtual high five?) to all the parents and guardians for getting through what I know was a challenging time.
It is wonderful to see (and hear!) the campus come alive again and we are looking forward to our Year Three to Nine students resuming school on-site next week.
Thank you for being such a supportive and wonderful school community. Please enjoy the photo shared by Ms Kim Westcott of a ‘fogbow’ taken on Warby Range Road. Have a lovely weekend.
